1. Purpose
This Expert Agreement governs participation by professionals who provide expert content, guidance, sessions or related services through GoodThought.
2. Eligibility and Verification
Experts must provide accurate professional identity, qualification, experience and other information requested for verification. GoodThought may verify credentials and may require periodic re-verification.
3. Professional Responsibility
Experts are responsible for the accuracy, legality, quality and professional appropriateness of their services and content, and must comply with laws, licensing requirements, professional standards and scope-of-practice rules applicable to them.
4. No Misrepresentation
Experts must not claim qualifications, licenses, affiliations, outcomes or expertise they do not possess. They must not make unsupported medical, therapeutic or guaranteed-outcome claims.
5. Sessions and Cancellations
Experts must honor accepted bookings, provide timely notice of cancellations, and follow applicable booking and refund rules.
6. User Safety
Experts must maintain professional boundaries, protect user confidentiality as required by law and professional obligations, and escalate urgent situations appropriately. GoodThought is not an emergency service.
7. Content License
Experts grant GoodThought the limited rights reasonably necessary to host, display, distribute and promote expert content within the Services, subject to the agreement and applicable law.
8. Payments and Taxes
Payouts, fees, taxes, chargebacks and payment schedules are governed by the applicable expert commercial terms and payment arrangements.
9. Suspension and Termination
GoodThought may suspend or remove an expert where verification fails, standards are breached, safety is at risk, or continued participation creates legal or operational risk.
10. Independent Status
Unless separately agreed in writing, experts are independent service providers and are not employees, agents or partners of GoodThought.
11. Applicable Law
Experts must comply with applicable local law, including licensing, advertising, consumer protection, privacy and professional rules.
