Children’s Privacy Policy

Minimum Age

GoodThought requires users to confirm at signup that they are at least 13 years old. GoodThought does not intentionally collect personal information from children under 13 in circumstances where parental consent is required.

Age Confirmation

The ordinary signup flow uses a checkbox age confirmation rather than requiring a full date of birth. GoodThought may request additional age verification when reasonably necessary.

If We Learn of Under-13 Collection

If GoodThought learns that it has collected personal information from a child under 13 in circumstances requiring parental consent, it will take appropriate steps to delete or otherwise handle the information as required by law.

Parental Requests

A parent or legal guardian who believes a child under 13 has provided personal information to GoodThought may contact privacy@goodthought.app.

Deletion

Where legally required, GoodThought will take reasonable steps to delete personal information collected from children without required consent.

Changes

GoodThought may update this policy as child-privacy laws, product features, or age-assurance practices change.

Family Plan Privacy

Family plans may include children where applicable law and required parental consent permit. Each child/family member has a separate account, and the Family Manager does not automatically receive the member's private Journal/Lumi, ORI Memory or private wellbeing information.
